Written in PHP, HTML, and JavaScript using a MySQL database on LINUX/Apache platform. These sites provide University of Notre Dame students in these respective classes with resources for their classes. Files are uploaded by the class coordinator and individual professors. Hyperlinks to resources can also be defined. The system inserts a unique identifier in Excel templates in a protected cell per student to allow instructors to check for academic honesty. The class coordinator and instructors can also set up dropboxes for assignments. Students submit assignments to the dropboxes and instructors can download the resulting files individually or in a zip file per assignment. These sites are used by over 900 students per semester.
ACCT1020.COM
This site provides Ohio University students with access to Excel resources for the ACCT1020 class. Utilizes the same application as above, however students pay for access to the resources. This site interfaces with PayPal for payment processing and is used by over 300 students per semester.
BAMACCOUNTING.COM
Written in PHP, HTML, and JavaScript using a MySQL database on LINUX/Apache platform. This site provides access to various units of Business Activity Model resources that are developed and maintained by Connie Esmond-Kiger at Ohio University. The site allows multiple institutions to set up access to the resources for their students. The site is currently used for classes at four different institutions.
